Overview
The 3PL Warehouse Operations Manager for the 2nd shift is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the warehouse operations during the evening hours. This role requires strong leadership to manage a team of warehouse staff, ensuring efficient processes and adherence to safety protocols. The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvement initiatives, manage inventory control, and effectively communicate with other departments and partners to deliver exceptional service. The Operations Manager will also implement best practices and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the warehouse during the 2nd shift to ensure efficiency and productivity
Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff to promote a positive work environment and high performance
Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize workflow and inventory management
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive improvement initiatives
Manage inventory control processes to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies
Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards to maintain a safe work environment
Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and delivery schedules
Compensation
$85k yearly
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
3+ years of experience in warehouse operations management
Proven experience working in a 3PL environment
Familiarity with Health and Safety regulations
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and WMS
