Overview

The LTL Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the LTL (Less Than Truckload) warehouse. The role involves managing warehouse staff, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, optimizing warehouse efficiency, and maintaining high-quality service standards. This position also includes coordinating shipments, tracking inventory, and implementing best practices to streamline processes. This role requires strong leadership to manage dispatch teams, optimize routes, and maintain high standards in customer service and operational performance. The supervisor will work closely with drivers, customers, and internal teams to facilitate timely deliveries and resolve any issues that arise during the dispatch process.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily transport operations and staff activities

Coordinate and dispatch drivers and vehicles

Monitor compliance with safety standards and transportation regulations

Develop and implement transportation policies and procedures

Analyze transportation costs and develop budget proposals

Train and develop transportation staff on industry best practices

Evaluate and optimize delivery routes for efficiency

Resolve issues related to transportation operations and personnel

Compensation

$65k - $75k yearly

Requirements

3+ years of experience in transportation or logistics management

Proven track record in optimizing transport operations

Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Skills

Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance
Proficiency in route optimization and logistics planning
Ability to manage budgets and financial reports
Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
