Overview

The FTZ Coordinator is responsible for managing and overseeing operations related to Foreign Trade Zones (FTZs). This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulations, and streamlining processes to enhance efficiency and facilitate trade activities. The coordinator will work closely with customs, logistics, and finance departments to optimize the benefits of operating within an FTZ, managing documentation, and addressing any issues that arise.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate daily operations within the FTZ and ensure compliance with all regulations

Prepare and manage necessary documentation for customs and trade compliance

Collaborate with logistics teams to facilitate movement of goods in and out of the FTZ

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to FTZ activities

Audit FTZ operations regularly to ensure regulatory compliance and identify improvement areas

Requirements

Strong understanding of import/export processes

Experience with FTZ operations

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field or 5+ years with FTZ and Trade Compliance experience

Skills
