Overview

The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing inventory management operations, ensuring accurate inventory records, enhancing operational efficiency, and implementing best practices for stock control. The ideal candidate will lead a team to optimize inventory processes while maintaining high levels of accuracy and compliance with company policies. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong analytical abilities, and effective leadership to promote teamwork and continuous improvement in inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and train the inventory control team to ensure high performance and adherence to procedures

Develop and implement inventory control policies and procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency

Conduct regular audits of inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies to maintain data integrity

Analyze inventory movements and trends to forecast future needs and optimize storage solutions

Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely replenishment of inventory

Prepare and present inventory status reports and metrics to upper management

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline inventory processes and reduce costs

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards related to inventory management

Compensation

$60k yearly

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field

3+ years of experience in inventory management or a related role

Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership position

Strong understanding of inventory control principles and practices

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools

Skills
